Odds makers are keeping a close eye on these shows as well, hoping to get a jump on who they should make the betting favorite when the live shows begin.
On Wednesday, fans may have found their next Idol, and odds makers may have found their next betting favorite. John Wayne Schulz emerged from the Texas auditions as one of the favorites of the judges. Message boards all across the US were buzzing after Schulz's performance.
The country singer who is said to have released an independent album at the age of fourteen, sang Believe by Brooks and Dunn. The judges were taken aback by the performance, and fans already were saying how the next American Idol may have been found.
"He (Schulz) was amazing," said Nicole Benning. "I have watched all of the tryouts so far, and he easily was the best. I have to wait and see who else does well the next couple of weeks, but I know that guy is going to be one of the contestants that goes far, and I think he can win."
That is a lot to say after just one audition, but that is how a buzz grows over certain contestants. It is common, however, that some of the favorites from the auditions are eventually knocked out in Hollywood week. Each year, some of the top early talent is eliminated under the pressure of the big lights in Hollywood.

The day part of the Internet died: Egypt goes dark According to the internet media,its all about the latest news and updates,internet media provided real hot topic information,that news latest updates is, Almost simultaneously, the handful of companies that pipe the Internet into and out of Egypt went dark as protesters were gearing up for a fresh round of demonstrations calling for the end of President Hosni Mubarak's nearly 30-year rule, experts said.
Egypt has apparently done what many technologists thought was unthinkable for any country with a major Internet economy: It unplugged itself entirely from the Internet to try and silence dissent.
Experts say it's unlikely that what's happened in Egypt could happen in the United States because the U.S. has numerous Internet providers and ways of connecting to the Internet. Coordinating a simultaneous shutdown would be a massive undertaking.
"It can't happen here," said Jim Cowie, the chief technology officer and a co-founder of Renesys, a network security firm in Manchester, N.H., that studies Internet disruptions. "How many people would you have to call to shut down the U.S. Internet? Hundreds, thousands maybe? We have enough Internet here that we can have our own Internet. If you cut it off, that leads to a philosophical question: Who got cut off from the Internet, us or the rest of the world?"
In fact, there are few countries anywhere with all their central Internet connections in one place or so few places that they can be severed at the same time. But the idea of a single "kill switch" to turn the Internet on and off has seduced some American lawmakers, who have pushed for the power to shutter the Internet in a national emergency.
The Internet blackout in Egypt shows that a country with strong control over its Internet providers apparently can force all of them to pull their plugs at once, something that Cowie called "almost entirely unprecedented in Internet history."
The outage sets the stage for blowback from the international community and investors. It also sets a precedent for other countries grappling with paralyzing political protests — though censoring the Internet and tampering with traffic to quash protests is nothing new.
China has long restricted what its people can see online and received renewed scrutiny for the practice when Internet search leader Google Inc. proclaimed a year ago that it would stop censoring its search results in China.

For years a question mark has been around over the birth of Barack Obama. The question of his birth got a bit murkier earlier today when rumors swirled that the Governor of Hawaii, Neil Abercrombie, had said that he had been unable to find any record of Obama’s birth anywhere in the state of Hawaii. Now late this afternoon, the dude who started the whole controversy is back-pedalling on his remarks and pleading his own ignorance.
Journalist Mike Evans had started the ball rolling during an appearance on the Minneapolis based KQRS radio station when he said, “Yesterday, talking to Neil’s office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ….. there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii.” Now Evans says he never spoke to the gov and really has no idea about Obama’s birth certificate.

The film, starring Colin Firth as a stammering King George VI, beat rivals including The Social Network, which won the most Golden Globes earlier this month.
True Grit, the Coen brothers' take on the classic Western, came in second with 10 nominations. The Social Network and Inception won eight nominations each for the 83rd annual Academy Awards to be held on February 27.
The King's Speech was a relative latecomer to the Oscars race, and scored only one Golden Globe award.
Firth, who won the Golden Globe for his performance in the British movie, is widely tipped for a Best Actor at the Oscars.
Helena Bonham Carter, who plays King George VI's wife, was nominated for best supporting actress, along with Amy Adams and Melissa Leo for their roles in The Fighter, Hailee Steinfeld in True Grit and Jacki Weaver in Animal Kingdom'
The Social Network had been tipped to earn the most Oscar nominations after winning four awards at the Golden Globes on January 16. But industry observers had noted that the British royal movie could do better at the Oscars because it was better suited to the tastes of the 6,000-plus members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

MIRANSHAH: Hundreds of tribesmen on Friday rallied to demand an end to US drone attacks, which they said were killing innocent people in the Tribal Areas, witnesses said.
More than 2,000 protesters staged the demonstration in Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, shouting slogans against the United States and its Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), responsible for the missile attacks.
Shop owners, students and other residents shouted anti-American slogans, and called for US Defence Secretary Robert Gates and the former CIA station chief in Islamabad to be brought to justice. “They should be arrested and punished by the courts in America,” said Abdul Khan, a student leader.
The United States does not confirm drone attacks, but its military and the CIA operating in Afghanistan are the only forces that deploy the unmanned aircraft in the region. In 2010, the campaign doubled missile attacks in the Tribal Areas with around 100 drone strikes killing more than 650 people, according to a tally.
Addressing on Friday’s rally, a member of a local political committee, Sarfraz Khan, denounced the drone attacks for killing innocent people, including women and children, and said that if it did not stop he would launch a long march to Islamabad in protest. Washington says wiping out the militant threat in tribal belt is crucial to win the war against Taliban in Afghanistan and defeating al Qaeda.

If you want to watch a Coen brothers movie with your kids, the options make for a pretty brief film festival. "Raising Arizona," with its loopy comic energy and nods to the Road Runner, isn't a bad starting point, though you still might have some explaining to do about the whole kidnapping thing. "The Hudsucker Proxy" has that marvelous, wordless sequence in which we see the hula hoop take flight in children's minds. But that's three minutes out of nearly two hours. "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Maybe. Provided your child digs Greek mythology and bluegrass music.¶It's not like Joel and Ethan Coen lie awake at night worrying about this hole in their filmography. That would signal they actually think about their body of work and the meaning of it all, when, really, once they finish a film, it's on to the next one. Self-analysis after the fact has never been their thing. ¶But when Joel, 56, took Charles Portis' novel "True Grit" off the shelf a few years ago to read aloud with his son, Pedro (now 16), the idea hit him that it'd make for a great movie, yes, and that it was a kind of movie they'd never done before.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta are back! I really, honestly missed them over the holidays. And they're back with Kim and Kandi's bus tour! Glorious.
I'm learning new things from Phaedra every week. For example, now we know what a "Sip and See" baby-viewing party is. I googled it and it turns out Phaedra did not make it up! Remember how Kim and Phaedra kind of got into it? Well, they did, and Phaedra hasn't forgotten it. Naturally, Phaedra is citing jealousy as Kim's/everyone's primary motivation for gossiping about her. I do feel bad for Apollo, though, and baby Ayden; they probably didn't need to be dragged into things. Plus, after his appearance on Watch What Happens Live, I kind of like Apollo!
Peter and Cynthia are looking for investors for their restaurant. Because they own that restaurant, remember? Cynthia is ready to sell the restaurant and move on, Peter is not. I really like Cynthia--she's rational.
The Sip and See: featuring Dwight (and the baby). Phaedra, Apollo, and Ayden were introduced by Dwight in a tuxedo. I was starting to like Dwight last season but now I think he's an obnoxious stunt queen. All the Housewives come to the party, including Kim who has promised to be nice for an hour then leave. Kim and Phaedra go outside for a smoke and to move on. Also, Kim brought her papes to prove she's a registered nurse. And it's real, unlike whatever "Dr." Tiy-E was waving in front of Sheree's face.
Kim and Phaedra talk stripping and convicts and now that everything has been addressed, they can get along. We'll see how long that lasts.

Season of the Witch’ is cursed Nicolas Cage flashes those pearly whites, chews some striking Austrian, Hungarian and Croatian scenery and collects another check for “Season of the Witch,” the latest in a long, almost uninterrupted run of junk movies that are beneath an actor of his Oscar-winning caliber.
“Witch” has him playing a wayward knight forced to escort an accused witch to an abbey where she can be tried, sentenced and executed, thus lifting the curse of the Black Death that has descended over Europe, thanks — the priests say — to her. And the best you can say about this hooey is that at least he had the King of the Bs, Ron Perlman, along for a few sidekick laughs.
Cage and Perlman are Behmen and Felson, crusaders who have deserted.
“Ever get the feeling God has a few too many enemies?” Felson cracks, and they quit the cause.
On their way home, they’re discovered, imprisoned and then coerced into delivering the accused girl (Claire Foy) to a distant abbey. The pox-ridden cardinal (Christopher Lee, in hideous makeup) sends them on their way, with a priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), another knight (Ulrich Thomsen), a swindler who knows the way (Stephen Graham) and an altar boy who longs to be a knight (Robert Sheehan).

The Love Triangle Continues
The focus of the promo (below) is the Booth-Brennan-Hannah love triangle.
It does begin with a clip about their case. At the crime scene, something explodes, covering them in a substance that looks mostly liquid with pieces of something mixed in.
Brennan being Brennan, she tells them to make sure it all gets into evidence bags and “be careful not to swallow.”
The rest of the promo for this Bones episode is all about the relationship many fans want to happen. Sweets wants to know how things are going between Hannah and Brennan, and Booth tells him the women are good friends.
Sweets can’t help but channel his psychiatrist skills when he tells Booth he could still have feelings for Brennan, though the FBI agent denies it.
Booth told Hannah about the conversation he and Brennan had in the car in “The Doctor in the Photo” episode. Hannah’s been avoiding Brennan, and the forensic anthropologist wants to know why. When she does get an answer, Brennan seems surprised that Booth told her.
It is a good sign for their relationship that Booth isn’t hiding things. On the other hand, poor Hannah may not be around for much longer, especially considering a spoiler that Michael Ausiello recently posted.

onight’s episode of The Big Bang Theory was “The Bus Pants Utilization.” Will Leonard’s application idea come between him and Sheldon?At lunch, Howard is busy talking his mother through using a computer, much to Sheldon’s annoyance. Leonard joins the others and tells them about an application that would recognize handwriting to make use of scientific equations. Sheldon thinks it’s a good idea and lets Leonard know he’s impressed in his own way. The others are on board. Howard dreams of moving out of his mother’s house with the money they would make. Raj suggests taking a picture of the moment but just plays his fart application instead.
Who’s in charge?
Sheldon stops the others from talking about the application in front of Penny, despite the fact that she’s bored. He has also made a detailed outline of how they will go about developing their app, including putting Raj on phone support and listing Howard as his “executive assistant.” However, Leonard has problems with Sheldon taking over the project since he came up with the idea. Though Sheldon agrees to let Leonard be in charge, that doesn’t keep him from making his comments.

Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley weighed in on his brother's new gig Thursday, and reportedly scoffed at the suggestion that President Obama has installed a "Chicago mafia" in the White House.
The mayor's brother William Daley was named the new White House chief of staff by the president Thursday afternoon. During a press conference about after school programs, Mayor Daley told reporters he was "honored" that his brother would be playing such an important role in the White House.
"We are tired of partisan politics in Washington," the mayor said, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. "And that is the message. Let's get down to business, let's roll up our sleeves, lets' talk about after school programs, let's talk about technology, let's talk about jobs. And that's what he's [Bill Daley] going to get back to."

KARACHI: Pakistan is expected to launch mango exports to the United States in 2011 season after first shipments of the fruit were made to Europe last year.
People associated with the mango industry gathered at a conference on Tuesday to celebrate a successful 2010 mango season, which was labeled the best year in the history of the country’s mango exports.
With annual production exceeding 1.5 million tons and demand growing around the world, the mango industry has a big potential for growth, says a press release.
Over the past year, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) helped local producers ship mangoes by sea to major fruit and vegetable importers and supermarkets in Europe. USAID also supported introduction of an internationally recognised quality certification, trained mango farmers in modern techniques, helped upgrade infrastructure and assisted in creating links with international buyers.

LONDON — It has come to this: Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, is complaining that someone leaked a Swedish police report on his alleged sexual offences.
In an interview with the British newspaper the Times, Assange complained about reporting in the rival newspaper the Guardian, which is one of several publications that has been helping WikiLeaks edit its trove of secret U.S. diplomatic files in exchange for an early look at them.
The Guardian published details Saturday of the Swedish police report in which two women accuse Assange of rape, based on what it described as "unauthorized access" to prosecutors' files. Assange claimed the newspaper was "selectively publishing" parts of it, and questioned the timing of the leak, saying it was given to the paper a day before his bail hearing last week.
"The leak of the police report to the Guardian was clearly designed to undermine my bail application. It was timed to come up on the desk of the judge that morning," Assange was quoted as saying in Tuesday's paper. "Someone in authority clearly intended to keep Julian in prison, and shopped (the report) around to other newspapers as well."

Well, that turned out to be a big dud. The only noteworthy thing to come out of LeBron's return to Cleveland last night (besides James doing his powder toss) was a Cavaliers assistant coach telling LeBron to "shut the f--- up." So I guess we move on to other nonsense now, like this look at the seven sexiest women married to mediocre NHL players. Willa Ford is not on the list because she's married to Mike Modano, and he's not mediocre, but she needed to be recognized in this space.

In fact the bail-out has done nothing to calm the markets. If anything, it has made the situation in Europe worse.
It has highlighted the problems of having to shore up bad debts and the risk of other countries needing a huge helping hand. The PIIGS as they are unflatteringly known - Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain - have been causing concern for months. No-one has ever experienced a financial crisis where multiple countries are in danger of defaulting on their debt.
But Ireland’s crisis, following so closely on the heels of Greece’s financial problems, has raised the spectre of more countries falling over.
The importance of Irish trade to our economy means that even though we’re not in the euro, we are in danger too. The pound was dragged down at first, though it’s rallied again since the beginning of the week. Foreign exchange specialists believe the pound should remain around the €1.20 mark in the current climate.
Richard Kirk, head of personal payments at Travelex says: "If Ireland had defaulted, Britain would have been exposed to more than £100 billion of toxic debt and millions of British consumers and businesses would have been severely affected. I believe that the pound could have collapsed under the pressure."
Even more alarming for Europe is that questions have been raised about the future of the euro altogether.
"The domino effect of countries failing across Europe is putting monetary union under pressure, but I don’t believe the euro will unravel," says Peter Hatch of HiFX.
The European Central Bank has not managed to calm the panic in the markets. The cost of borrowing through Government bonds has risen in Portugal this week, replicating the triggers that caused Greece and then Ireland to go to cap in hand to the ECB and IMF
Fears that Spain and Italy could also need help have increased. Spain is a particular problem because it is a much larger economy that either Ireland or Greece.
Andrew Scott, foreign exchange dealer at HiFX, says: "This solution to Ireland’s difficulties has set a rather difficult precedent and as more countries require a bail-out, the fewer members there are left to do the bailing-out. The size of Spain’s economy could mean the potential bail-out needed would be double that of Ireland or Greece."
Markets react well to certainty and at the moment that’s in short supply.
The bail-outs of failing economies are not popular with European citizens either. Neither the countries that have had to provide loans to Greece and Ireland, nor those who have been forced to accept bail-outs are happy.
The single currency may come under pressure again as it points up the fact that the weaker countries’ economies have no control over their own monetary policy. Strict monetary controls over individual government’s spending from the ECB will not be popular with their citizens but it finds favour with traders in the foreign exchange market.
The trouble is that those countries being squeezed by their bad debt problems can’t devalue their currency to make their exports more attractive to other countries, nor can they inflate their way out of trouble.
As Christina Weisz, director of Currency Solutions, says: "There may be a longer term impact on the single currency, as further rescue packages will shape general sentiment towards the Eurozone.”
Gary Reynolds of Courtiers Investment Services is more outspoken. He says: “The latest Irish problem is a symptom of the stranglehold that the euro, and Germany, has over Europe. Ireland, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Italy all need a weaker currency to help adjust. They are less competitive than the Germans, who are simply exporting their way out of recession while offering no increase in demand. If Germany and the Benelux countries want to keep the euro they will have to go on bailing out the Irish and the Club Med economies.”
A flagging continental Europe is not good for Britain. As we saw with Ireland, we are exposed to their debt problems with our banks lending billions to theirs.
But not all debt crises will have the same effect on us.
FXPro’s chief strategist Michael Derks believes sterling should outperform the euro if the crisis extends to Portugal, Spain and Italy because our exposure to these countries in the form or trade or - even worse - loans is relatively minor.
Sterling won’t necessarily be seen as a safer currency because we’re not out of the woods yet with our own economic difficulties. But at least we are a separate currency able to manoeuvre to our own benefit without having to kowtow to the ECB.
