Country legend musician,Merle Haggard, was one of the 2010 Kennedy Center honorees, poses for the formal class photo with his fellow honorees following the formal Artist's Dinner at the United States Department of State in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, December 4, 2010.
The person who led the tribute to Haggard was Vince Gill. Willie Nelson narrated a video tribute said that Haggard's penchant for trouble. In fact Haggard was imprisoned in San Quentin when Johnny Cash came to sing for the inmates. After he saw Cash, he knew that he could find his way in music, which was pretty interesting to learn about Haggard.
