I don’t know about you, but I get pretty confused by zodiac sign dates. I mean, the cutoffs from one sign to another can be super confusing. Couldn’t they have just been organized by month? Like, if you’re born in October, you’re a Libra. Enough said. Well, to make things more confusing, what if your sign has changed? No, there wasn’t some big astrological overhaul. Your sign has been changing since you were born. Apparently, it’s always changing. And apparently, everything we think we know about zodiac signs is wrong and there are new zodiac sign dates we should be following. Whoa.
According to astronomers (and I guess common sense, if you really think about it), the Earth is in a different spot in relation to the Sun than it was 3,000 years ago, when the study of astrology began and the zodiac signs were developed and assigned. The Earth’s equatorial alignment has changed over time, too! So, if the principles astrology was founded on have changed, don’t our signs also have to change and readjust? It makes sense.

Old vs New Zodiac Signs: Astrological Signs Change;latest news update,New Zodiac Signs: Astrological Signs Change – Old vs. New List! The reputable astronomer insists that the signs you were born into have changed and a one-month gap in the zodiac signs is the result of that change.

So what does that mean for you?
If you used to be a Virgo, you’re now a Leo. If you used to be a Leo, you’re now a Cancer – and so forth.
But that’s not all.
In addition to changing the signs, the astronomers want to add a thirteenth zodiac sign called Ophiuchus. You’re an Opiuchus if your birthday falls from Nov 29 – Dec 17.
Furthermore, the new zodiac sign dates overlap one another. As you can see below, any person whose birthday falls on the last possible day of the sign, also falls into the first day of the next sign. For instance, if your birthday is on August 10, technically you fall into both the Cancer and the Leo categories. I guess, at that point, you just choose which one you like better

According to the internet media, its all about the latest news and updates, latest news update, New Zodiac Signs 2011: Did Your Sign Change? Will You Change;here’s quite the fuss about whether or not the new zodiac signs that were released today means your astrological sign changed. People everywhere are having an identity crisis. Am I a Gemini or a Taurus? Am I a Virgo or a Leo? What does it all mean?

Well, Professor Parke Kunkle of the Minnesota Planetarium Society opened his mouth and said the Zodiac had a problem with the dates. Not only is the Earth aligned differently today than it was in 3000 BC, but we’ve also been leaving the constellation Ophiuchus out of the equation. So, Kunkle added them back in, told the world about it, and the brains of those who believe in astrology all exploded as we tried to figure out if taking the new job was really the wrong move, and whether or not we want potato leek soup or anise squash soup for dinner. Yep, your astrological signs also determine your food cravings, too. See if you changed zodiac signs after the jump.
